A major pandemic combined with a global economic crisis has made 2020 a year like no other. In the cybersecurity realm, we’ve experienced shifts in the underlying industry economics including changes to the threat landscape, growing risk considerations, and expanding attack methods by nation state actors.

Join us to hear General David H. Petraeus (US Army, Ret.), former Director of the CIA, and Kevin Lynch, Chief Executive Officer of Optiv, share their reflections on past experiences with crisis management and defining moments of leadership, teamwork & community.

This unique duo of leaders at the highest level of security and government will discuss the current state and future challenges for the cybersecurity industry in a post-pandemic world and share their thoughts as we enter a new era of changed nation-state relationships, an expanded threat landscape, and accelerated digital transformation.

Client Insights Panel:

Assessing your Cybersecurity Program to Create an Actionable Roadmap. The “new normal” is a misnomer – the measures you are looking to apply and enforce are not “new” and the environment you are applying them to is anything but “normal”! In this time of rapid change, the securing and reassessing of an organization’s cybersecurity program is more critical now than ever before, so it's imperative for organizations to reassess their end-to-end cyber program. The Strategic Security Assessment (SSA) is an Optiv service that measures the current state of your cybersecurity program while providing a multi-phased roadmap for improvement. Properly developed roadmaps provide your organization with an actionable and prioritized list of steps that will lead to a positive and measurable change in a risk-focused cybersecurity program.  During this customer panel, Michael Doucet, Optiv’s Canadian Executive Director of the Office of the CISO, will be joined by several of our clients to discuss their experience with the SSA and how having a proper assessment and roadmap can advance, measure and lower the risk of their organization's cybersecurity program.
